JOB SUMMARY


Responsible for collaborating and supporting schools in addressing academic and behavioral problem solving at the supplemental and intensive intervention level.


EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in the field of Education, or related field
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in the area of assignment

OR

  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

Intervention Specialists assigned to students with disabilities or to an ESE Program must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Exceptional Student Education
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in the area of assignment
  • OR
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate

Intervention Specialists assigned to students with disabilities or to an ESE Program must meet the following requirement:

  • Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate in the field of Exceptional Student Education (ESE)
