Position Retail Investment Research Specialist (Individual Investor Focus) Type Contract Compensation $105–$200/hour Location Remote Commitment 10–20 hours/week Role Responsibilities Research stocks, sectors, and market trends using publicly available and professional tools such as reputed company and financial news. Formulate and articulate investment theses, including entry/exit reasoning, catalysts, and risks. Analyze price movements and market events, distinguishing between noise and meaningful signals. Evaluate AI-generated insights for clarity, usefulness, and accuracy. Provide feedback on whether outputs improve decision confidence or create confusion. Simulate real-world investor workflows, including idea discovery, validation, and portfolio monitoring. Qualifications Must-Have Active participation in public markets (equities, ETFs, or similar instruments). Demonstrated habit of researching and tracking investments independently. Ability to explain why a stock is moving or whether a move matters. Strong intuition for market sentiment, narratives, and behavioral patterns.
