The Supply Chain Management Development Program (SCMDP) Intern will gain hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain management, conducting analyses and supporting projects that drive efficiency and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Conduct various supply chain analyses, including internal and external market research studies, data and process analysis, and support of innovative digital solutions that help drive efficiency and data-driven decision making for P/SCM management and cross-operating company procurement teams
- Frequent interaction with leadership, senior managers, current program members, and program alumni can be expected
- Assignments span the end-to-end global supply chain across multiple asset classes, Corporate, and Business Unit roles
- Business Intelligence & Data Visualization (e.g., spend, inventory, cost, etc.)
- Strategic sourcing, negotiations strategy & execution
- Business process improvement across the enterprise (e.g., logistics, contracting, materials management, inventory management, demand planning, etc.)
- Evaluation and deployment of digital solutions, including change management
- Benchmarking our performance and making and/or implementing recommendations to improve results
- Market intelligence for existing and new products/services
- Project management
Skills
- Geographically mobile
- Permanent US Work Authorization
- Typically have completed a bachelor's degree in a technical and/or analytical discipline (e.g., engineering, finance, data science, business analytics, etc.)
- 3+ years' work experience
- Procurement or Supply Chain Management internship/work experience
- Analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and business acumen
- Exhibits leadership potential
- Innovative approach and ability to look beyond standard practices
- Demonstrates exceptional communication abilities
- Promotes teamwork, diversity, inclusion, and integrity
