Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hilton is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven professional to join their data warehousing team. In this mid-level role, you will support data warehousing initiatives, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data products while enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Support data warehousing initiatives and monitor data products to ensure the reliability and accuracy of information loaded into databases
  • Analyze Source to Target mappings and ensure they are in accordance with established standards and are kept up-to-date
  • Query tables, analyze data, and prepare reports to support business objectives
  • Profile new data assets and document results to facilitate the development of new data ingestions
  • Support the QA process during the development of new data products or enhancements to existing data products
  • Provide production support for incident tickets and user questions related to data products
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to understand trends and data behavior, and effectively communicate or document findings for internal teams
  • Catalog data assets and apply classification labels in accordance with the company's PII classification standards
  • Support data health initiatives by applying knowledge of Data Quality fundamentals and documenting data quality processes

Skills

  • 5 + years of relevant experience in data warehousing, data analysis, or a related discipline
  • Experience supporting QA processes for data products or data pipelines
  • Experience providing production support, including responding to incident tickets and end-user inquiries
  • Demonstrated experience conducting data analysis and documenting results for internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Proficiency in querying databases and working with large volumes of structured data
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with Source to Target mapping analysis and documentation
  • Knowledge of Data Quality principles and data health monitoring practices
  • Understanding of PII classification standards and data governance frameworks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and exercise sound judgment in moderately complex situations
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with general supervision while managing multiple tasks and projects
  • Experience with programming languages (Python) preferred
  • Experience using AI tools preferred
  • Experience translating business requirements for data questions and data capabilities
