Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the overall strategy for environmental services, sanitation, and infection control programs. Lead, manage, and mentor a geographically dispersed team of environmental services professionals. Establish and maintain high standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all facilities. Oversee the research, procurement, and implementation of new technologies and cleaning methodologies. Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and industry best practices. Develop and manage the departmental budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization. Create and implement comprehensive training programs for all levels of environmental services staff. Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align environmental services with organizational goals. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement data-driven improvements. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in environmental services. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in environmental services management, with at least 3 years in a director-level role. Proven experience in developing and implementing large-scale sanitation and infection control programs. Extensive knowledge of cleaning science, infectious disease principles, and healthcare environmental standards (if applicable). Demonstrated success in leading and managing remote teams effectively. Strong strategic planning, financial management, and operational leadership skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with modern facility management software and remote collaboration tools. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
