Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and direction for complex mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion. Develop and oversee the mechanical design architecture, ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance. Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, fostering a high-performance culture and technical development. Conduct advanced engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, vibration, and fatigue, using sophisticated simulation tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and product management, to define system requirements and ensure seamless integration. Drive innovation by identifying and evaluating new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes. Ensure designs comply with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively in a remote setting. Resolve complex technical issues and provide expert guidance to the engineering team. Communicate technical strategies, project status, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels. Requirements Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related advanced technical field. 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or management role. Extensive experience with advanced CAD/CAE tools and simulation methodologies. Proven track record of successfully leading complex engineering projects and teams. Deep understanding of system dynamics, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes. Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills. Excellent remote collaboration, communication, and leadership abilities. Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop engineering talent.
