Senior Accounting Manager - REMOTE, SEC REPORTING!
Auto Import<p><strong>LHH</strong> is partnering with a large, publicly traded organization to hire a <strong>Senior Manager of Accounting (SEC Reporting)</strong>. This is a <u>fully remote</u> opportunity with a highly visible accounting team, strong leadership exposure, excellent benefits, and competitive compensation package.</p><p><br></p><p>If you're a CPA with a strong SEC reporting / technical accounting background who enjoys being the go-to person for complex accounting matters while still owning major external reporting deliverables.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead preparation and review of 10-K, 10-Q, SEC disclosures, consolidated financial statements, and management reporting</li><li>Research and lead conclusions around complex and non-routine technical accounting matters, including preparation and review of technical accounting memos</li><li>Monitor new U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance and lead implementation of accounting and disclosure changes</li><li>Partner closely with Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, external auditors, and executive leadership</li><li>Support quarterly reviews, annual audits, Audit Committee deliverables, and resolution of complex reporting matters</li><li>Drive improvements around reporting processes, close procedures, workpapers, controls, and automation</li><li>Maintain accounting policies and position papers for complex and judgmental accounting areas</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What they’re looking for:</strong></p><ul><li>CPA required</li><li>8+ years of progressive accounting experience</li><li>Strong background in SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting</li><li>Experience either auditing SEC registrants within a national/public accounting firm, working in SEC reporting or technical accounting for a public company, or a combination of both</li><li>Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX, and disclosure requirements</li><li>Experience leading complex accounting matters and reviewing the work of others</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required; Master’s preferred</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>$150,000 - $170,000 + bonus</li><li>Fully Remote</li><li>Benefits: Excellent comprehensive benefits package</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</p><p>To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy</p><p>The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:</p><p>• The California Fair Chance Act</p><p>• Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance</p><p>• Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers</p><p>• San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance</p>
