SENIOR MANAGER - FINANCE

(Succession pipeline to GM Finance)

This role is designed for a strong Senior Manager with the potential to step into a General Manager position in the near future.

Key Highlights

• Lead and manage the Finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia requirements, financial regulations, and statutory obligations
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, annual reports, and board papers
• Drive financial planning, analysis, and performance monitoring
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, regulators, and other stakeholders
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance frameworks
• Support corporate exercises such as M&A, fundraising, and restructuring
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management and the Board
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team

Requirements

• Professional qualification: Chartered Accountant (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience (for Senior Manager) / 15+ years (for GM level)
• Prior experience in a public listed company is essential
• Background in a reputable audit firm (Big 4 or equivalent) is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance
• Proven experience in managing audits, financial operations, and corporate exercises
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
