Travel Telemetry RN

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Telemetry RN to join our nationwide team of healthcare professionals supporting hospitals and medical centers across the United States. As a Travel Telemetry RN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients requiring continuous cardiac and telemetry monitoring in a variety of acute-care settings. You will bring strong clinical judgment, advanced rhythm interpretation skills, and the flexibility to quickly adapt to new environments while upholding Fusion Medical Staffing’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and teamwork.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of telemetry patients, performing comprehensive assessments, and continuously monitoring, interpreting, and responding to cardiac rhythms and telemetry data. You will administer medications, including complex cardiac therapies, monitor patients for changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly to the provider team. You will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing direct bedside care, managing IV lines and infusions, supporting post-procedural and post-operative telemetry patients, and educating patients and families about disease processes, medications, and discharge plans. You will utilize electronic medical records for thorough and timely documentation, ensuring accurate communication of assessments, interventions, and outcomes across shifts and disciplines. You will be expected to follow all facility-specific policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols, including fall prevention, central line care, and medication reconciliation.

As a travel nurse with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will rotate through contracted assignments at various hospitals, adapting to new teams, workflows, and charting systems with professionalism and a positive attitude. You will demonstrate strong critical-thinking skills, remain calm and effective in urgent or emergent situations, and participate in rapid response or code events within your scope of practice. You will be a key contributor to a supportive, collaborative work environment that values clear communication, mutual respect, and consistent, high-quality patient care.
